Little Acorn – Knitted Acorns in 2 Sizes

Bring a little woodland charm into your home with the Little Acorn Set — two knitted acorns with smooth bodies, textured garter stitch caps and little stems: Little Acorn and Little Acorn Mini. Both sizes are included in one PDF pattern.

The acorns are knit seamlessly in the round from the bottom up. The body starts at the center of the base and grows in a circle; the cap is worked directly onto the body — first increased so it overhangs the edge, then decreased up to the stem. You stuff the acorn before the opening closes, and there is no sewing. Lovely in a bowl, as autumn decor or — the mini with a small loop — as a hanging ornament. A great scrap-yarn project.
