Elliot Cardigan

Knitting pattern for a timeless baby cardigan with a V-neck and fine stripes. The Elliot Cardigan combines a simple, modern shape with classic details. The large buttons, the striped pattern and the double-knit button band make it a special yet versatile knit for babies and toddlers.

The cardigan is knitted top-down. First the back is worked, then the shoulders are knitted separately and the V-neck is shaped with increases. The front and back are then joined into the body and worked on in the striped pattern. The sleeves are knitted in the round. Finally, the button band is knitted directly onto the cardigan in double knitting and finished with buttonholes.
